Featured in Portrait Magazine, this project highlighted our team’s ability to engineer, detail, and execute multiple custom metal elements throughout a single cohesive space.
As the focal point of the kitchen, the custom range hood demanded absolute precision. We sourced a massive, flawless sheet of hot-rolled steel and developed a concealed mounting assembly to keep the large face dead flat and rock solid—all with zero visible fasteners. For the fireplace, while the structural fabricator set the steel surround, our team stepped in on-site to handle the preparation, detailing, and custom blackened patina application. The key was maintaining tight control over the chemical process to achieve a rich, consistent finish without disturbing the adjacent concrete or solid surface hearth stone. Finally, to honor the designer's intent on the light fixture, we engineered and fabricated a custom anodized aluminum enclosure specifically designed to resolve complex attachment points while maintaining crisp geometry and a seamless integration into the ceiling.
Every detail on a build like this relies on seamless collaboration from start to finish.
