The Riverfold house is one of those projects where everything just clicked. It’s a perfect example of what happens when great design meets a shop that cares about the fabrication, resulting in a piece that feels like a permanent part of the architecture.

We collaborated closely with Lewis Williams of Hacker Architects to dial in the execution of this unique door. Off-angle rooflines and a solid steel jamb, header and threshold all contributed to the technical challenge, along with integrating the viewing window with no visible fasteners or welds on either the interior or exterior faces.
