The entry for the Fairway View project came down to building a clean pivot door with matching sidelights that keeps the focus on a sharp and simple look. We went with a solid black powder coated finish for the frame and used aluminum angle glass stops to secure the double insulated glass which is over half an inch thick and uses a black separator to keep the lines crisp.

For the hardware and weatherproofing we kept things reliable and functional. It features a standard lock and deadbolt setup combined with compression weather stripping on the vertical sides and molehair on the horizontal edges to keep the wind and water out. The whole unit sits on a custom double sloped hardwood threshold that ties the entire entry together.
