The fairway view project highlights how clean steelwork can completely anchor a space, resulting in a rock-solid feature that spans two flights and a central landing. By wrapping the sides of each flight in solid steel channel stringers and encasing the perimeter of the landing to match, we achieved a continuous, unified frame that looks incredibly sharp. The structure feels completely permanent because the landing uses a sturdy, semi-floating steel frame with posts that anchor directly down into the main floor.
For the final look, the custom carbon steel railing posts give the stairs a strong, secure perimeter, while the hand-rubbed blackened patina brings out a beautiful, dark texture in the metal. The industrial look of the channel for the stringers, paired with our Parallel railing system and solid white oak treads elevates the look to a more tailored result than raw steel alone.
