This expansive railing project features customized forged balusters, newel, and rail brackets, and our signature elliptical handrail profile in white oak. We worked closely with builder Green Gables and designer JHL to achieve a timeless, yet minimal railing in this expansive estate remodel. We developed and installed all the steel balusters with custom machined tenon joints for a clean, seamless finish to the hardwood floors, as well as used custom ground reaming drills for a tight joint between the balusters and the underside of the handrail.
