A custom Mahogany handrail to match an organic, hand-forged iron balustrade by a local artisan in Lake Oswego, Oregon.  What makes this handrail unique is its custom, ‘compound bend’ construction method.  This process allows us to make a solid wood handrail that is not just bent sideways, but also undulates up and down at the same time.  A compound bender has a changing radius and rake.
